Be comfortable, that is our only requirement. You will be spending some time on a rooftop on a July afternoon, and then you will be spending 90 mins in a bus sitting, and rest of evening in the ballroom eating and hopefully some dancing. Some guests will be wearing western and some would be wearing Indian outfits. So choose what makes you feel the best.

Yes. If you would like to change your clothes during the day, you may wish to do so after the bus tour as there is a 30 minute break in the foyer before the Crystal Ballroom is opened. If you do wish to get changed, you may get changed in the restrooms which are in the foyer. The restrooms are quite large and immaculate and are reserved only for guests in the wedding. Please note that you are not requested, however, to change your clothes. We want you to feel comfortable and simply have fun with us on our wedding day! The bride will be changing and so will a few in her party. However, the groom and several others will not be changing clothes before entering the Crystal Ballroom.

Yes. Upon entering The Ritz-Carlton Vienna, there is a small staircase (with approx. 8 steps) which you will need to climb down before being able to enter the lift. Once you are in the lift, you will need to take it to the fifth floor and will then need to climb a slightly larger and winding staircase (with approx. 15 steps) in order to access The Atmosphere Rooftop Bar. To access the Crystal Ballroom, you will need to enter The Ritz-Carlton Vienna and take a small staircase (with approx. 8 steps) which you need to climb up before being in the foyer in front of the Crystal Ballroom.

Thank you for the kind thought. We have decided not to accept gifts and instead ask you to provide a donation which we will be sharing with the Mombasa Children's Orphanage. Please note that if you do decide to provide a donation (which is of course optional) we do not want to know who has provided it, so please drop it in our donations box anonymously.

We have arranged for 2 buses which can each fit 50 guests in. This means that there is seating for 100 guests. The buses are large single decker vehicles which have one toilet in each. If you have travelled to Vienna with your family and friends and they are available at 16:00 on 20 July 2024, we would like to invite them to join us on the 90-minute bus tour. While we cannot invite your family and friends into The Atmosphere Rooftop Bar and the Crystal Ballroom, we can extend an invitation for them to join the bus tour and enjoy the city with us. If you would like to bring your family and/or friends on this bus tour, please let us know in advance. This is because we need to ensure that there is no more than 25 additional persons joining (as they wouldn't otherwise fit) and we need to provide instructions on where the bus tours will specifically be departing from (as The Ritz-Carlton Vienna has several entrances and exits).

No. Prior to the tour, we will be serving champagne, orange juice and water along with a slice of our wedding cake (The Original Sacher-Torte) in The Atmosphere Rooftop Bar. We will be bringing 40 water bottles with us in the bus tour in case anyone is thirsty.

Yes. You may leave your prams with the hotel - the doorman will arrange for the pram to be stored. The Ritz-Carlton Vienna will not be able to accept any other items such as suitcases/luggage. If you need assistance in storing such items, please let us know in advance and we will find a suitable solution for you

In the Atmosphere Rooftop Bar, we will be providing The Original Sacher-Torte as our wedding cake to our guests. We will also be providing champagne, orange juice and water. In the foyer in front of the Crystal Ballroom, we will be providing chocolate covered strawberries and water. In the Crystal Ballroom, we will be providing a 3-course vegetarian meal. The starter is inspired by our love for Indian and Lebanese food; the main is inspired by our love for Mexican food and the dessert is inspired by our love for Austrian food.

Yes. We will be providing champagne and Austrian red and white wine.
